Are the Pack back?

Just so the rest of you know, having a double-digit lead going into a Monday night game against the Packers is not nearly enough. I speak from experience.

With his QB (Lamar Jackson) and TE (Sam LaPorta) to go and down by 14, the Pack (2-1) cruised to erase that deficit and post a 15-point win over the Tirades. In the process, they took over the lead in the Shit Talkers Division. Well, technically it's only a share of the lead, but how long will the Gerbils (also 2-1) be able to keep up with the juggernaut Pack?

Chuck Nelson's Gerbils (2-1) stunned the Recliners last weekend, erupting for a season-high 109 points in the process, but are averaging only 86 points a game. The Pack? They're scoring at a 103-ppg clip.

Over in the Silent Division, the underscoring but overachieving Spread Beaters remained the only unbeaten team in the league with a win over WTNE. Matt Pringle's Beaters (3-0) are averaging only 84 points a game, though, but last week 75 was enough to take down Jordan Garcia's WTNE (2-1).

Here's a rundown of last week's games...

PACKERS 113, TIRADES 98: QB Lamar Jackson iced this one with a 26-point effort on Monday night to win it for the Pack. RB James Cook added 17 and WR A.J. Brown 16. Tirades RB Jonathan Taylor had 29 and QB Daniel Jones had 15.

INVAIDERS 111, WHO DEY 51: Vern Ahrendes' defense scored a third of his team's points as they throttled Matt McCumber's Who Dey (0-3). Vikings did most of the damage for the Invaiders, in fact. Vern got 30 from the Minnesota defense and 23 from RB Jordan Mason. His other two RBs, Kyren Williams and Kenneth Walker III, each had 16. The only player in double-figures for Matty was Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 15.

GERBILS 109, RECLINERS 89: RB Jamyr Gibbs had 21 and so did Tampa Bay kicker Chase McLaughlin as the Gerbs (2-1) rolled to the win. McLaughlin would have been the team's top scorer had he not had a fourth-quarter FG attempt blocked, one of four blocked FGs on Sunday. RB J.K. Dobbins led the Reciners (2-1).

BAND AIDS 86, RANGERS 68: QB Caleb Williams and RB David Montgomery both scored 28 points as Bob Garcia's team posted its first win of the season. RB Derrick Henry added 10 and the Band Aids (1-2) survived a -7 effort from the Ravens defense. The Rangers (1-2) got 22 from QB Josh Allen and 16 from the Steelers defense and not much else.

BEATERS 75, WTNE 52: WR Nico Collins led the team with 15 points and both Amon-Ra St. Brown and QB Kyler Murray added 13 each as the Beaters remained unbeaten. QB Jason Herbert and the Seahawks defense scored 14 each for WTNE.
