Surprisingly, every matchup this week featured players in the Thursday night game; Not surprisingly, RBs lead the scoring: Chuba Hubbard's 17 has the Rangers ahead, Josh Jacobs nets 16 for Recliners

Josh Jacobs scored a TD and 16 points in his second game back for the Recliners.
Josh Jacobs scored a TD and 16 points in his second game back for the Recliners.

We'll start with the Thursday scoring that should lead to a victory.

The Rangers (3-4) got a TD and 17 from RB Chuba Hubbard and lead the Invaiders (4-3), and now hold a 55% chance of going on to a victory and forcing a tie for first in the Shitty Division.

The Band Aids (5-2) got a TD and 11 from Green Bay TE Tucker Craft and are 72% favorites to hold on for a win over WTNE (0-7).

But Thursday night scoring wasn't enough to swing the odds in the other three games.

The Tirades (3-4) are in need of overperformance at several positions if they have any hope of a win over the Spread Beaters (2-5). It looked promising last night, at least at one WR position, as Christian Watson already had 100 yards receiving midway througfh the second quarter. But on a 53-yard catch, Watson fell to the turf on top of the ball, and a Panthers DB fell on top of Watson at the same time. He left the game, boarded an ambulance, found out at the hospiutal he has a cracked rib and surprisingly returned (in the same ambulance) in the second half and did made one first-down catch and finished with 10 points. But that's only one above his predicted 9, so the Beaters still hold a 53% chance of winning this one.

The Recliners (2-5) hold a 24-13 lead over the Packers (5-2) thanks to 16 from RB Josh Jacobs and 8 more from WR Jalen Coker. The Pack's 13 points came from WR Matthew Golden and that was enough to maintain a slight (51%) chance of going on to a win.

Who Dey (5-2) is trying to topple the Shit Talkers Division-leading Gerbils (6-1) and hold a slim 5-2 lead after Thursday night play. WR Tetairoa McMillan scored the 5 for Matt McCumber, but that isn't enough to change the odds: The Gerbils are 55% favorites to win this one despite the fact that Chuck Nelson continues to start Green Bay K Trey "I Can Miss From Anywhere" Smack, who scored the whopping two points for the Gerbs. Smack missed another PAT last night and missed two of his three FG attempts. He's now shanked two PATs and five FGs this season. Chuck, there are lots of other kickers out there, but please keep this guy and start him every week.

We'll update again on Monday morning. have a good Halloween weekend everyone, and don't forget to set your clocks back on Saturday night.
